[Padre-dev] Progress to 0.57

Hi Everyone,

With the merge of Steffen's branch going into trunk not long after 0.56
was released, it seems to me that Padre is still quite fine, albeit
there are a few issues like the DB one showing up.

That being said, how, do those who know more, think Padre is in regards
to the merged in code changes?  Are we in a place to do a release
( keeping to a fortnightly release ) or shall we, for now, hold off for
a while more before release?
