You are right yes this is true when using non-standard Perl syntax, my point
I guess was that other text editors or IDEs they don't even get the simple
default stuff right, the syntax highlighting tends to be so simplistic and
everything looks the same, and for NEdit it doesn't, it does a really good
and granular job with most stuff.

How do I get this to turn on? I keep selecting PPI in my preferences but
then when I open a file it always shows in the bottom corner Scintilla? I
am using the latest Padre 0.56
