If any this is for FreeBSD Perl team. Some, maybe all, modules have to 
be reinstalled when switching from distribution Perl (no threads) to 
threaded Perl.

I haven't given this much thought actually, just reinstalled them, but 
this is definitely a good question to ask freebsd-perl at .
