By dependencies I mean wxPerl and a bunch of other Perl modules. As for 
the threaded Perl the Makefile checks if this is enabled 
(perl -V::usethreads) and warns if it turns out it isn't before moving 
to installing other dependencies.

I can't force users to recompile Perl. They have to do it themselves 
(which isn't such a hard or time consuming thing at all).
