I miss this too.

In my case, a simple new "run" menu option called something like "run
script with arguments" would suffice for now, opening a window where
the user can type the wanted parameters - preferably in a history
enabled combobox already showing the last-typed parameters (better yet
if it can remember this history per script, as you said).

This seems easy enough so I can try and tackle it *if no one else
volunteers*, though I must warn people that, if I do, it will probably
take a little time (as I have near zero experience with wx and not a
lot of free time).

Later on, when Padre has projects, it could also be set in a "project
properties" window of some sort, I guess.
