Hi Gabor,

I am writing to thank you for an excellent piece of software. I tried
it last week and am finding it truly revolutionary in writing a
variety of scripts/programs. It has renewed my interest in perl.

Anyways, I thought I would drop you a line to let you know that on
openSuSE 11.1 installing through CPAN works as simply as typing
"install Padre" at the CPAN prompt. openSuSE 10.3 is nearly as easy
but I had to manually install a couple of minor dependencies before it
would finish.

Your wiki may unduly scare people off with this line "but many of the
dependencies need manual attention and it can take several hours to
install it the first time". It took me no time at all to install.
