I've made some progress with keybinding and fiddling with menus and
now have a quick hack for rebinding hotkeys but I realised that Padre
uses a subclass of Wx menu's and I was wondering how hard it would be
to store attitional attributes in those rather than mucking about with
Wx XS code ?
I'd like to be able to store a couple of bits of info, such as
accelerator key, and provide some extra methods to like GetSubMenus,
etc that wxpython provides but wxperl doesn't.
With any luck I'll have a workable emacs mode plugin by early next
week, with or without modifications to Padre menu code internals, but
this would help
Eventually it would be nice to fold some of that into Wx or Alien or
something, but my immediate goal is being able to use padre instead of
emacs day to day.
