[Padre-dev] I think we might have broken 0.23

I'm looking at Padre 0.23 as it was uploaded to CPAN.

It seems to have branched off half way through my API changes.

In particular, it still has all the ->selected_ methods and doesn't
have Padre::Current at all.

So I think all the plugin changes we've made to support the switchover
to ->current won't actually work with 0.23 as it exists on CPAN...

If Test::NeedsDisplay is still causing issues, I recommend we just
disable the use of it altogether and release 0.24 immediately.
