I'll update the syntax checking code as soon as possible but probably not before the weekend.

By the way: Heard about your intention to provide HTML export - why do you use another module 
and don't "simply" extend the PerlTidy plugin? 
IMHO, that one should be part of the main distribution anyway because I believe the formatting 
capabilities PerlTidy provides are essential?!
